An Interview with Rustic Reid

I've been so lucky to get to know Layne over the past month or so. She is such a kind, uplifting and creative person. She hustles so hard and always finds the time to leave a positive comment in her busy day.

I asked her some questions about her and her Etsy shop. Read it to learn more about her and her shop, then go follow her on Instagram at @rusticreiddesigns and check out her etsy shop http://rusticreid.etsy.com! You can get 15% off her entire shop if you use my code LDL15. Happy hunting!!

Q. Hey there Layne! Can you tell us a little bit more about your shop?

A. I started my shop becauseI’m a stay at home mom to two sweet kiddos and my husband travels a lot for work; so I needed something for myself and to keep myself busy when he’s gone! I love working, and creating so it seemed like a good fit.

Q. How did your shop, Rustic Reid, get its name?

A. Rustic (is the style) Reid (my sons middle name) and our logo is a mason jar (after my daughter whose name is Mason).

Q. What kinds of things do you make and sell?

A. I make Rustic/Farmhouse decor (signs, custom flour sack dish towels) rustic flower vases and also some etched barware!

Q. What are you working on right now?

A. A large order of dish towels/signs to go into a shop and my daughters “trolls” themed birthday decorations... and inventory for a spring market I’m doing in March.

Q. What are some goals you've set for yourself recently? Personal, and professional.

A. Personally, just raising sweet babies, they are both so happy and kind, and I try hard to keep it that way! Professionally, making enough profit to do something specially for my family! My husband works hard and spoils us, I’d love to do the same!
